From Artfair to Living Space

Furthering on from the last post on New York Affordable Art Fair, one of the main questions I get as a painter who regularly takes part in Art Fairs is “Do you ever get to see your artwork in clients homes?” which the answer to this question is sometimes, yes. Not all the time do you get to meet the people who buy your work, a lot of the business is undertaken by galleries or brokers who are intermediaries for interior specialists or companies who fit out offices.

Here however, I am able to show a photo of how the power of art can come alive and bring a living space to life. It is very refeshing to actually see some of the work on the walls of a collectors home and how having a really good gallery to show the work and compare it with the buyers initial ideas can help realise the dreams of the home owner.

The rich vibrancy of the steel in this painting (Swyre Nevin) which measures 100-100cm and the mix of colours which combine with what the palette in the home offers are here for all to see in this potentially now complete interior designed project.
