Affordable Art Fair NY

September and October are traditionally alongside Spring some of the most busy times in the Art Fair calendar and for many artists and galleries, we are now either engaged in a fair or busy preparing for the next one. This month, we take in the most excellent Affordable Art Fair in New York where I am exhibiting with Wills Art Warehouse for the next week (at the time of writing, I have just caught up on the overnight action).

The most important part of any set up is curation. As you see here, the work is not overcrowding the other artists and is given plenty of space to breathe. There is a really good selection that we worked on in pre fair curation which was done in online meetings, the colours work with each other and there is a good sense of narrative across the presentation. When a buyer wants to enquire, it is important to be able to give them a sense of how the work would look in their house.
