These large scale artworks have been created as a response to the ever changing coastline across the South of England, they are large industrial size pieces of steel layered with oils and coffee and repeatedly heated to create an impactful piece of art.
The various colours used are taken from the coastal paths and the skies across the coast at differing times of the day. The heat applied during the making process slowly starts to mute the oil based colours down to give its washed out sunbleached appearance.
Measuring, 175x125cm - This painting has a timber back bonded on to the steel to support the painting whilst on your wall and is screwed through the steel for added support.
You will need either brackets in the back to hang this correctly (these can be supplied) or by using a split beam to hang.
