Yellow Ore was a commission that happened directly off the back of the Coal Show opening with George Thornton Art in 2025
The client wanted a bespoke piece to fit the home as the piece that se wanted from the show had already sold to another collector.
The work took 4 weeks to construct from steel that had already been treated alongside the main body of work.
Measuring 150-90cm and containing Coal grains, Plastics and oils on the surface.
