Art installed in this stunning countryside retreat for this amazing family in Sussex.
Recently in the studio, we were very fortunate to have a wonderful family wander in looking for the right piece of art for their home in Sussex. They had a colour scheme in mind and wanted to get the right piece. I had advised them to spend a bit of time looking at all the work that I had in stock and to both agree on the same artwork. They looked at a range of artworks in various colours and diffrent sizes before deciding on this stunning 150-100cm piece which I created a few years ago which represented Sussex in the evening for them. They both fell in love with the use of Pink in the artwork and wanted to get it in to their home.
We arranged for delivery and installation with a local carpenter called Ben Thorne who I use on all these projects to help fit and install the work the following week. We had a look at various options around the home that the artwork could go, but in the end they decided on the main wall in the front room where they could all see it every day.
This was the highlight of February for me as this is exactly why I got in to this business in the first place, seeing the work go to the correct home. You can see more of this story by watching the video on Instagram Reels. @sampeacockart
