Coal 1 is a framed piece of original artwork made using oils and coal ground onto a steel base, the artwork itself sits in a stunning hand made tray frame and comes complete with hanging wire on the back.

These original artworks were the original templates for the Coal collection, released in September. The steel has been treated with clay and the coal has been ground down from its fired form to be mixed with the oils before being hand sanded back to reveal the orange oils that lie underneath.
