“Of The Land” solo show at the Curious Duke Gallery

“Of The Land” is the 3rd Solo Show from artist Sam Peacock at the Curious Duke Gallery. Its focus is on the changing landscape surrounding the Hastings and Pett Level peninsular.

During the month of May 2018, Peacock will exhibit 18 paintings at the Curious Duke Gallery. Each one focuses on a certain area which has influenced his artwork during the preparation of the show.

Peacock works entirely from his studio in Sussex and spends his working time exploring the rich and diverse landscape of the area combining local history, site sketches and using a metal detector to fully understand the land.

His work combines oil paints, coffee and especially for this show, Wealdstone and Clay baked into the steel that they are founded on.
